Below are images of my second pier
under construction. This one features 5/8" Aluminum plate,
1/2" 13TPI steel treaded rod throughout.
I started by drilling 4 mounting holes in the bottom plate to mount it to
the concrete outside and 4 inner holes for the treaded rods held in place
by 1/2 bolts top and bottom. After it was test fitted it was mounted
outside and the Sonotube filled with Maximizer concrete and allowed to
setup for 7 days before any testing was done.
